The blast in Kunduz left nearly 22 people dead and injured

Local sources in Kunduz say about 22 people have been killed and injured in an explosion in the province.
Qari Obaidullah Abedi, spokesman for the Kunduz police command, said the blast took place in the Sardura area of Kunduz city.
He added that at least four people were killed and 18 others were injured in the blast.
Meanwhile, today (Thursday) the city of Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province also witnessed a powerful explosion.
Sources in Mazar-e-Sharif say the blast took place at the Shiite-affiliated Seh Dokan mosque in the city center when worshipers were performing noon prayers.
The exact number of casualties is not yet known, but dozens are said to have been killed and injured.
