The head of the Taliban’s Ministry of Transport and Aviation headed a delegation to Qatar

The head of the Taliban Ministry of Transport and Aviation has traveled to Qatar at the head of a high-level delegation of the group.
According to Bakhtar News Agency, Mullah Hamidullah Akhand, the acting head of the Taliban Ministry of Transport and Aviation, headed a high-level delegation of the group to Qatar today to discuss the technical aspects of the agreement on the five Afghan airports.
The delegation also includes Rumi Amir Khan Mottaqi, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rumi Khairullah Khairkhah, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Deputy Minister of National Defense, and a number of other Taliban officials.
Earlier, the Taliban Ministry of Transport and Aviation said the group had reached an agreement with Qatari and Turkish joint ventures on details of aviation security, ground services and airspace at the country’s five airports.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry also confirmed that all three parties had reached an agreement on the management of Afghanistan’s airspace.
