Clashes between Taliban forces and two former government soldiers in Kapisa

Popular sources in Kapisa say there has been heavy fighting between the Taliban and two former government soldiers, the sons of a former jihadi commander, in the province.

According to these sources, Taliban insurgents attacked the area of Hesa II Kuhistan district to arrest the two former soldiers in Pul-e-Shahra area, which met with strong resistance from the two soldiers.

Sources add that the two former militants clashed with the Taliban in the area of Pol-e-Shahra and in a house that looks like a fortress with security towers, and the Taliban have not yet been able to arrest or dismantle the two former militants.

Meanwhile, a day ago, in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, a fierce clash took place between gunmen Soheil Zmari, nephew of Atta Mohammad Noor, and the Taliban.

As a result of the clash, Atta Mohammad Noor’s nephew, Soheil Zmari, was killed, and 11 members of the Taliban including the group’s fourth district commander also killed.
