Chinese Foreign Ministry: The events in Afghanistan show the brutality of the American order

A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman called on the United States to apologize to the Afghan people, saying that the events in Afghanistan expose the brutal nature of the American order.

“The US invasion of Afghanistan, which lasted two decades, killed more than 174,000 people, including 30,000 civilians,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin told a news conference yesterday. “Nearly a third of the Afghan people have been displaced and more than half of them are starving.”

“The United States shattered a country and a generation and fled, and now it has taken even the last reserves of money to save the Afghan people,” he added. “It simply came to our notice then.

Meanwhile, a group of independent UN experts appointed by the UN Human Rights Council to review the situation in Afghanistan said in a statement yesterday that the Islamic Emirate was using gender-based violence and the United States was freezing Afghanistan’s assets. They have made it worse in this country.
