Pakistan’s second shipment of aid to flood victims in Afghanistan has reached Mazar-e-Sharif

Following the sending of humanitarian aid by Pakistan to the victims of the recent floods in Afghanistan, the second shipment of aid has arrived in Mazar-e-Sharif today.

Mohammad Siddiq Khan, Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, announced the landing of the aircraft carrying the aid cargo at Mazar-e-Sharif Airport in the capital of Balkh province and said that the aid would be distributed to those affected by the recent floods in Afghanistan.

The first shipment of aid was transferred to Mazar-e-Sharif three days ago.

Pakistani Ambassador to Kabul Mansour Ahmad Khan tweeted that the aid included a tent, food and medicine sent to the Afghan people under the leadership of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
