A landslide in Badakhshan killed four people

Local officials in Badakhshan say four people have died in a landslide in the province.

The incident took place yesterday in Shullar Payan village of Yawan district of Badakhshan province.

Moazuddin Ahmadi, the head of information and culture in Badakhshan province, confirmed the incident, saying that four people who were washing and gilding next to a mountain were trapped under the rubble and died as a result of the landslide.

According to him, the victims of the incident were all the residents of Schuler village.

Meanwhile, residents of Badakhshan have been killed and injured in a landslide in the past.
