A man was killed by his niece in Uruzgan

Local officials in Uruzgan say a man has been killed by his niece in the province.

The head of Taliban information and culture for Uruzgan says a man has been killed by his niece in Dehraud district of the province.

He named the man killed as Abdul Qahar, adding that the man had been killed by a niece, Akbar Jan.

According to him, the incident took place on Sunday and the accused in the murder has also been arrested.

Meanwhile, crime and mysterious murders have risen to unprecedented levels in most provinces of the country.
