The World Food Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (WFO) in a joint report on the countries facing the greatest challenges of acute hunger and food insecurity said that Afghanistan and Somalia are on the verge of meeting these challenges.

The joint report, released yesterday, emphasizes that Afghanistan is on the verge of entering a catastrophic hotbed of food insecurity in the world, and names 20 other countries facing food insecurity in the world.

According to the report, Afghanistan and Somalia are entering the catastrophic point of food insecurity in the world, and Ethiopia, Nigeria, South Sudan and Yemen are in the worst situation with catastrophic conditions.

The report also cites the conflict in Ukraine, which has intensified a year of catastrophic famine, sparking a wave of lateral famine that is spreading around the world.

However, after the recent developments in Afghanistan, the country faced an economic crisis, which led to an increase in unemployment and poverty.
