The Taliban appointed a new governor in Panjshir

Local sources in Panjshir say the Taliban have appointed Mohammad Nasim Nouri as the province’s new governor.

Sources say the new governor of Panjshir has been replaced with Maulvi Qudratullah by Taliban leader Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzadeh.

They say the newly appointed Taliban governor for Panjshir is from Helmand and Pashtun, but the Taliban have not yet commented officially.

The Taliban are appointing a new governor of Panjshir as clashes between Taliban and Resistance Front forces escalate in the province.
