Three were killed by the Taliban in Balkh

Local sources in Balkh say three people have been killed in clashes with Taliban in the province.

Sources say that this morning (Saturday) when Taliban inspected a residential house, three men clashed with them, who were killed by members of the group during the clash.

According to sources, the incident took place in the town of Khalid Ibn Waleed in the first security district of Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province.

Meanwhile, Taliban officials in Balkh say the group has killed three thieves who tried to steal property from a house.

The Taliban official added that the three men were wanted and killed after ten minutes of fighting with the group’s forces.
