A man killed his wife and child in Helmand

Local officials in Helmand say a man has killed his wife and three-month-old baby in the province.

According to Salam Watandar, the sources said that the incident took place last night in Taj Mohammad Ake village of Garmsir district of Helmand province.

Mohammad Qasim Riyadh, spokesman for the Helmand province’s information and culture department, said the man had fled after beheading his wife and three-month-old child.

He said security and intelligence forces were working to arrest the man.

Meanwhile, a man in Nimroz province killed nine members of his family yesterday and fled.
