The Taliban approved a plan to print three million passports

The Taliban administration announced yesterday at a cabinet meeting that it had made decisions on distributing electronic ID cards to nomads and printing three million passports.

The meeting was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Taliban Prime Minister Mohammad Hassan Akhand, the statement said.

The statement added that the process of distributing electronic ID cards to nomads had been suspended due to problems and is now resuming.

According to the statement, Afghan citizens working abroad were also discussed at the meeting.
