Construction of the Aqina-Andkhoy railway resumed

Local Taliban officials in Faryab say construction of the Aqina-Andkhoy railway is continuing.

According to them, the construction of this railway is 90% completed.

The Aqina-Andkhoy railway is 30 km long. The practical construction of this line in Faryab province had started in August 2019.

Meanwhile, the Aqina-Andkhoy railway and two other projects were inaugurated in late 2019 in the presence of the former presidents of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
