Taliban: Police are not allowed to work in plain clothes

Officials at the Kabul Police Headquarters say that the police forces of the Islamic Emirate are no longer allowed to inspect the people in their personal clothes.
According to the Bakhtar state news agency, Kabul police chief Wali Jan Hamza said that after distributing uniforms to police forces, they were not allowed to work in checkpoints in plain clothes.
Meanwhile, the Taliban’s Interior Ministry last week began distributing new uniforms to police forces.
In the past, Taliban police used the uniforms and uniforms of former government forces.
