Explosion in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz

Sources in Kunduz say an explosion occurred at a mosque in the Imam Sahib district of the province.

The sources said that the explosion took place this afternoon in a mosque in Imam Sahib district during Friday prayers.

According to them, at least 10 people were killed and about 30 others were injured as a result of this explosion.

Meanwhile, officials of the Kunduz Police Command confirmed the explosion and said that there were no casualties in the blast.

However, the nature of this explosion is not known yet and no one has claimed responsibility for it.
