Nicholson reacted to the Taliban likening women to animals

The EU envoy to Afghanistan has reacted to the Taliban’s claim that unveiled women are being likened to animals.
EU Commissioner for Afghanistan Thomas Nicholson has reacted to the Taliban likening women to animals, saying that such metaphors are not the hallmark of a respectable and legitimate government.
Advertising posters erected by the Taliban’s Office for Promoting Virtue and Prohibiting Virtue in most parts of Kandahar City resemble women without veils to animals.
In these posters, it is written that a Muslim woman tries to make herself look like an animal by not observing the hijab.
In these posters, emphasizing that short, thin and tight clothes are also considered as unveiled, it is stated that Muslim women should consider hijab as their duty and not a restriction.
It is worth mentioning that after taking control of Afghanistan, the Taliban imposed many restrictions on human rights, especially of women and girls.
