An explosion in Nangarhar killed two people

Taliban officials in Nangarhar say two people have been killed in an explosion in the province.

Officials from the Taliban Information and Culture Department in Nangarhar say the blast took place this morning in Shirgar Bazaar, Ghani Khalil district of the province.

They added that the blast was caused by a magnetic mine that targeted a vehicle carrying the district health director.

According to them, 2 people were killed and 28 people, including 5 Taliban forces, were wounded as a result of this incident.

However, no one or group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
