The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Comprehensive Cooperation

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who is on an official visit to Tashkent, signed a document on comprehensive cooperation at a meeting with his Uzbek counterpart.

In this meeting, 18 documents were signed between the governments, ministries and departments of the two countries.

At the meeting, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reiterated his commitment to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan and to fill it with new practical content.

The two leaders also exchanged views on the international and regional situation, as well as the continuation of intensive talks and mutual support in multilateral structures.

The two leaders also discussed further expanding the multilateral strategic partnership of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
