A person killed his son in Paktia

Taliban officials in Paktia say that a person killed his son with a knife in this province.

Omar Badri, the spokesman of the Taliban security command in Paktia, says that this incident happened yesterday in Biri village of Vazi district in Zadran.

He attributed the incident to family violence and added that the assailant fled the area after killing his son.

According to him, efforts are underway to arrest this person.

This is while the number of family violence, mysterious murders and suicides in the country has increased drastically in the last few months.
