The Department of Meteorology warned of the possibility of rain and floods in 11 provinces

The Afghanistan Meteorological Department has warned of the possibility of relatively heavy rainfall with lightning and flash floods in 11 provinces of the country.

The directorate wrote in a tweet that there is a possibility of relatively heavy rainfall with lightning, flash floods and momentary strong winds with dust in the provinces of Nuristan, Badakhshan, Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Paktia, Paktika, Logar, Khost, Ghazni and Zabul is predicted.

The Department of Meteorology has predicted 10 to 30 mm of rainfall in different parts of the mentioned provinces.

The department also said that momentary strong winds with dust are expected in Mazar-e-Sharif, Kunduz, Herat, Farah, Nimroz, Helmand, Kandahar and Uruzgan.

According to this directorate, the speed of this dust is predicted to be between 20 and 90 kilometers per hour in different places.
