Kabul-Jalalabad highway was closed to traffic due to rain

Officials in the Nangarhar Department of Transportation say that the Kabul-Jalalabad highway is closed to traffic due to heavy rain.

The officials of this department say that this highway is closed to traffic as a result of heavy rain in different places and floods.

According to them, efforts are underway to reopen this highway and passengers should refrain from traveling on this route until the highway is reopened.

Meanwhile, the Kabul-Bamyan highway was also closed to traffic the other day due to flooding and hundreds of passengers were stuck on both sides of this highway.
