Floods in ten provinces of the country left 33 dead and injured

The Ministry of Disaster Management says that 13 people have been killed and 20 people have been injured in the past two days in ten provinces of the country as a result of floods.
Officials of this ministry say that heavy rains and floods in different provinces of the country have also left huge financial losses.
According to them, most of the damages as a result of these floods have been inflicted on the residents of Behsud, Daimirdad, Jalriz, Qarq, Jagto, Seyedabad and Chek districts of Maidan Wardak province.
They add that nearly 500 acres of agricultural land has been destroyed in the mentioned districts.
Officials of the Ministry of Government in matters of incident response still say that the floods in Nuristan, Khost, Nangarhar, Paktia, Paktika and Parwan provinces have also caused huge losses.
At the same time, the Afghanistan Meteorological Department has also announced that heavy rainfall with floods is expected in the central, eastern, northeastern, southern, southeastern and southwestern regions of the country this week.
