The Meteorological Department warned of heavy rains and floods in 24 provinces

The Afghanistan Meteorological Department has warned of the possibility of heavy rains and floods in 24 provinces.

The announcement of this department states that there is a possibility of relatively heavy rainfall with flash floods in the provinces of Nuristan, Badakhshan, Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Paktia, Paktika, Ghazni, Kapisa, Panjshir, Kabul, Parvan, Midan Wardak, Logar, Khost, Daikundi. Uruzgan, Ghor, Kandahar, Helmand, Nimroz, Farah, Herat and Zabul are expected.

This department has predicted the amount of rainfall in different places between 10 and 40 mm.

Meanwhile, during the past two days, floods have left 34 dead and injured in 10 provinces of the country.

These floods have also caused huge financial losses.
