A cleric was killed by gunmen in Kunar

Local sources in Kunar say that a religious scholar was killed by unknown people in this province.

These sources say that this incident happened this morning (Saturday) in Sahibzadagan village of Khas-Kunar district of Kunar province and this religious scholar was shot dead by gunmen.

According to them, this religious scholar was called Sahibzadeh Hanafi and supported the Taliban.

This is while before this too several religious scholars who have supported the Taliban have been attacked by armed people in some provinces of the country.
