The flood in Zabul killed 26 people
Taliban officials in Zabul say that 26 people have died as a result of floods in this province.
The head of public works of Zabul says that Qalat, the capital of this province, and the districts of Arghandab, Siori, Shamalzo, Khak Afghan, Daichopan and Shahr Safa have witnessed floods.
He adds that 26 people including 13 Talib, four women, three children and six men have died as a result of these floods.
He also says that as a result of these floods, about 250 houses and more than 500 acres of agricultural land have been destroyed.
This is despite the fact that last week the floods in most of the country’s provinces caused human and financial losses.
