Biden confirmed the death of the leader of al-Qaeda in the drone attack of this country in Kabul

The President of the United States announced that the leader of the Al-Qaeda group was killed in the drone attack of this country on a residential house in Kabul.

US President Joe Biden said in his speech at the White House this morning (Tuesday) that Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of the al-Qaeda group, was killed in a drone attack by this country in Kabul.

He said that the order to attack the al-Qaeda leader’s residence was issued a week ago, but this attack was carried out on Saturday.

According to the US President, Zawahiri had gone to his residence in Kabul to see his family and was killed in this attack.

Biden added that Zawahiri’s family and civilians were not harmed in this attack.

The President of the United States continued his speech and said that by killing Zawahiri, the United States has done justice to him and today the world is safer.

Meanwhile, the Taliban, who have repeatedly denied having a relationship with the Al-Qaeda group, have condemned the US drone attack in Kabul.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Taliban, wrote in a tweet yesterday that this US action is against international principles and disobeys the Doha Agreement.
