Nasir Ahmad Faiq: Ashraf Ghani should have apologized to the people

In response to the recent interview of Ashraf Ghani, the fugitive president of Afghanistan, the head of Afghanistan’s representation in the United Nations says that Ashraf Ghani should have apologized to the people of Afghanistan.

Naseer Ahmad Faiq, head of Afghanistan’s representation in the United Nations, wrote in a tweet yesterday that Ashraf Ghani, the fugitive president of Afghanistan, should have apologized to the people of Afghanistan in his recent interview.

He wrote: Ashraf Ghani should have apologized to all the people of Afghanistan, especially women, youth, security and defense forces, and the families of the martyrs, but he did not do this. He tried not to blame himself and still emphasized demagogic slogans and words that he neither believed in nor acted on during his rule.

The recent interview of Ashraf Ghani, the fugitive president of Afghanistan, with a newly established media, in which he says that according to the law he is still the president of Afghanistan and blames the fall of his government on his political rivals, has brought many reactions.
