Pakistan’s Defense Minister: America has not used our airspace to target Al-Qaeda leader

The Minister of Defense of Pakistan has said that the US did not use the country’s soil to target the leader of Al-Qaeda in Kabul.
According to the Pakistani newspaper Dan Khawaja Muhammad Asif, the Minister of Defense of Pakistan said that the United States did not use the country’s soil to target Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.
The Minister of Defense of Pakistan added that America does not need the airspace of that country for this purpose.
Previously, the White House announced an anti-terrorist operation in Afghanistan, as a result of which Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of the al-Qaeda group, was targeted and killed in Kabul.
A day after this attack, US President Joe Biden confirmed Zawahiri’s death in a speech.
But the Taliban group condemned this attack by the United States and announced that the killing of the Al-Qaeda leader in this attack is an allegation and the group is investigating it.
