The Foreign Minister of Qatar expressed disappointment with the actions of the Taliban against women and girls

Qatar’s foreign minister has expressed his disappointment with the Taliban’s actions against women and girls in Afghanistan and said that this group should give everyone in this country rights and access to education.
According to the Doha news agency, Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said during a press conference in the capital of Malaysia: Of course, we are very disappointed with some of the actions taken against Afghan girls and women, and we encourage the Taliban to cancel the measures and give everyone in Afghanistan rights and access to education.
He added in this conference: We are concerned about the situation in Afghanistan and we ask all parties to adhere to the Doha agreement signed in 2020 between the Taliban and the United States.
The government of Qatar, which also hosts the political office of the Taliban, had previously expressed its disappointment over the closure of schools for girls in Afghanistan.
