The Taliban imposed gender segregation regulations in Kabul’s urban transport

Sources in Kabul have informed about gender segregation in urban transportation and say that at present there is one car for women and one car for men in Muzdham stations of Kabul city.

These sources say that these regulations were recently imposed by the Taliban and currently separate cars are considered for men and women in city transportation stations.

One of the drivers of the Pol e Sokhta station of Kabul says that they are not allowed to carry men and women in their cars at the same time.

According to him, two Taliban agents are present at this station and monitor compliance with these regulations.

This is while the Taliban have already imposed gender segregation rules in universities, amusement parks and public places.
