The Taliban killed Mehdi Mujahid, one of the disgruntled commanders of this group

The Ministry of Defense of the Taliban has announced that Maulvi Mehdi Mujahid, the disgruntled commander of this group, has been killed while fleeing the country.
The ministry announced that Taliban forces killed Maulvi Mehdi while he was fleeing the country at one of the country’s borders with Iran.
At the same time, some news sources say that Maulvi Mehdi was arrested by the Taliban in Kandak Som Kamaneh, in the village of Boonad in Khesan district of Herat, and then killed.
Maulvi Mehdi Mujahid was one of the disgruntled Hazara commanders of the Taliban group who opposed the decision of the Taliban leadership in Kabul and fought with this group for some time in Balkhab district of Faryab province but was defeated.
