American Senator: There is a possibility of revival of al-Qaeda in Afghanistan

The American Republican Senator says that Al-Qaeda is emerging in Afghanistan and it is possible that they will attack America again.

Lidsey Graham, the Republican senator of the United States, has expressed concern about the revival of al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and says that history repeats itself and that the United States has not ended any war, but has started a new one.

He said: “As I speak, Al-Qaeda camps are emerging in Afghanistan… History is repeating itself and all this could have been prevented.”

He added: Only time is needed before terrorism migrates from Afghanistan to America, and its possible route is the southern border (Mexico).

Emphasizing that al-Qaeda and ISIS have a common vision, this American senator added: ISIS is fighting against al-Qaeda and al-Qaeda is aligned with the Taliban. What do these three groups have in common? They are radical fundamentalists.

He went on to emphasize that it was Biden’s decision to withdraw from Afghanistan, and said that there were conditions for America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, which the Taliban did not comply with.

This American senator expresses his concern about the possibility of the revival of al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, as Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of al-Qaeda, was killed by the United States in Kabul.
