Imran Khan: Afghan women must stand up against the Taliban to demand their rights

The former prime minister of Pakistan says that Afghan women must stand up against the Taliban to get their rights.

Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, said in his latest statement that Afghan women should stand up against the Taliban to demand their rights.

Mr. Khan described the people of Afghanistan as strong, especially the women of this country, and added that the Taliban hate foreign interference and will resist external pressure from this day on, the people of Afghanistan must stand up against the Taliban to achieve their rights.

This is while Imran Khan had previously welcomed the Taliban to power in Afghanistan.

It should be mentioned that after taking control of Afghanistan, the Taliban imposed severe restrictions on human rights, including the rights of women and girls.

In response to this action of the Taliban, women, girls and women’s rights activists in various provinces of Afghanistan have repeatedly protested against this group, and these protests have been violently suppressed by the Taliban.
