Taliban Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled: Six months’ salary of heirs of martyrs and disabled has been paid

Officials of the Ministry of Martyrs and the Disabled presented a report on the one-year activities of the ministry at the press conference held at the Government Media Information Center.
Sheikh Abdul Hakim Haqqani, deputy of the Ministry of Martyrs and the Disabled, who spoke at the press conference, said: Addressing the problems of orphans, widows, women and people with disabilities is at the top of the work priorities of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, and the Ministry of Martyrs and the Disabled is based on the guidance of the high authority. The ministry trying to create better living conditions for them.
The Deputy Minister of Martyrs and Disabled Persons added: With the rule of the Islamic Emirate, the process of stabilizing martyrs and disabled persons across the country started again, and imaginary and undeserving persons were removed from the system.
According to him, so far, 127,500 orphans and widows have been registered in the system, and with the signing of cooperation agreements with private banks, the six-month salaries of the disabled and the heirs of the martyrs have also been paid.
Meanwhile, the officials of this ministry say that during the last year, cash and food aid from Turkey, Pakistan, Iran and charity organizations have been distributed to 30,000 orphans, widows and disabled.
