Maulvi Ansari was killed in an explosion in Guzargah Mosque of Herat

Local sources in Herat report the death of Mujeeb al-Rahman Ansari and several others as a result of an explosion in the Guzargah Mosque of this province.
These sources say that the explosion occurred today during the Friday prayer in the Guzargah Mosque in Herat province.
According to these sources, as a result of this explosion, Maulvi Mujib al-Rahman Ansari, a supporter of the Taliban, his brother and 13 of his bodyguards were killed and some were wounded.
However, some sources also say that more than 50 people were killed and injured as a result of this explosion.
At the same time, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Taliban, also confirmed the killing of Maulvi Ansari in a tweet and called this attack the work of the enemies of religion.
In the continuation of his tweet, while expressing his sorrow, he said that the perpetrators of this incident will be punished for their actions.
Maulvi Mujeeb al-Rahman Ansari, the preacher of Herat Crossing Mosque, was a supporter of the Taliban and a critic of the previous Afghan government.
