The earthquake in the Kunar left 15 dead and injured

Local sources in Kunar say that 15 people were killed and injured as a result of the earthquake in this province.

These sources say that this earthquake occurred in the middle of the night on Sunday, and as a result, 6 people died and 9 others were injured.

According to them, in addition to the loss of lives, this event has caused financial losses to the residents of Kunar Province.

However, no specific statistics have been provided on the financial losses of this event, but according to the reports of local sources, dozens of residential houses have been destroyed.

At the same time, the US Geological Organization (USGS) announced the magnitude of this earthquake as 5.3 on the Richter scale and said that its center was 10 kilometers from the ground, 38 kilometers northeast of Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province.
