The explosion in Kabul left 11 dead and injured

Officials in Kabul say that as a result of an explosion near the Russian Embassy, 11 people were killed and injured.

The Taliban security command in Kabul announced that the explosion took place around 11:00 today (Monday) near the Russian embassy in the 11th district of this city.

According to the announcement, a suicide bomber who intended to blow himself up in front of the Russian embassy was targeted by the security forces and caused the explosion.

The announcement of this command states that as a result of this incident, one person was killed and 10 others were injured.

Meanwhile, some sources have also said that as a result of this incident, two employees of the Russian embassy were also killed.

However, no group has claimed responsibility for this attack.
