Taliban: Air guidance services will start in the country in 6 months according to international standards

The deputy spokesperson of the Taliban says that air guidance services will be started in the country in 6 months according to international standards.

Inamullah Samangani, the Deputy Spokesman of the Taliban wrote in a tweet that after signing the contract with GAC Company of the United Arab Emirates, the air guidance services in Afghanistan will be started in about 6 months according to international standards.

He added that other foreign airlines such as Turkesh Airlines, Fly Dubai, Emirates and others will resume their flights to Afghanistan in 2 months.

About 4 months ago, the Taliban handed over the management of Kabul, Herat and Kandahar airfields to the GAC company of the United Arab Emirates.

It was previously said that Turkey, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates jointly manage Afghanistan’s airfields.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar had confirmed this and had said that all three parties have reached an agreement on the management of Afghanistan’s airfields.
