Hekmatyar stressed on the reopening of girls’ schools in Afghanistan

The leader of the Islamic Party of Afghanistan emphasized on the reopening of schools for girls in Afghanistan and said that learning science is the inalienable right of every Afghan.
Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the leader of Islamic Party of Afghanistan, said in an interview with Sputnik that the caretaker government of the Taliban should open schools for girls.
He said in this interview: We emphasize this and will continue to do so. This is the indisputable right of every human being and every Afghan, no one has the right to close the school gates. We agree with this and we emphasize that the conditions required by our culture, faith and religion must be provided, but no one has the right to close the doors of schools for this reason, it is a problem, it must be solved, a suitable environment is necessary to provide should be provided, this is the government’s responsibility.
He added: We emphasize this, we will always and seriously insist that they open the doors of the schools, in the same way that they opened it for the youth, they should also open it for the girls, there is no difference between the two.
It should be noted that since the Taliban came to power, schools for girls above the sixth grade have been closed in most provinces of the country.
