According to Reuters, Nooruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban, announced the signing of the contract to import oil, gas and wheat from Russia to Afghanistan.
He said that this contract was signed temporarily and its purpose is to provide a special discount from Russia for oil, gas and wheat items imported to Afghanistan.
Mr. Azizi added that according to this contract, one million tons of petrol, one million tons of diesel, 500 thousand tons of gas and two million tons of wheat will be imported from Russia to Afghanistan.
