World Food Program: $1.1 billion is needed to continue aid to the people of Afghanistan

The World Food Program in Afghanistan says that $1 billion is needed to continue providing aid to more than 15 million people across Afghanistan.

Officials of the World Food Program say that from October of this year, more than 15 million tons of aid will be provided monthly in Afghanistan by this organization, and more than one billion dollars are needed to continue these aids.

They say that 1.1 billion dollars are needed to provide food for 15 million tons in Afghanistan from October to March next year.

Officials of the World Food Program in Afghanistan add that with this amount of money, 150,000 metric tons of food will be saved to help remote areas whose transportation routes are closed.

Before this, the World Food Program said that it would buy wheat from Ukraine to help the people of Afghanistan and overcome the economic crisis in this country.
