A relatively strong earthquake shook parts of Badakhshan

The U.S. Geological centre has reported the occurrence of a relatively strong earthquake in parts of Afghanistan.

The U.S. Geological centre has declared the epicenter of this earthquake to be in the Ashkashim district of Badakhshan province, which is the border between Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

This organization said that the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.1 on the Richter scale.

However, no information has been provided about the possible damages of this earthquake.

It should be mentioned that the residents of some provinces of Afghanistan, including Paktika, Paktia and Khost, have witnessed severe earthquakes this year, which have resulted in loss of lives and huge financial losses.

According to the report of the Ministry of Disaster Management, as a result of this year’s earthquakes in Afghanistan, 920 people died and nearly 610 others were injured.
