The president of Tajikistan says that terrorist groups are trying to cross the borders of Afghanistan to the countries of the region.

Imam Ali Rahman, the president of Tajikistan, has emphasized on the creation of a security belt around Afghanistan at the international and regional cooperation conference on security and border management to counter terrorism and prevent the movement of terrorists, which was held in Dushanbe on Tuesday.

Emphasizing that terrorist groups are trying to cross the borders of Afghanistan to the countries of the region, he has warned against the spread of extremist ideas among the youth.

The President of Tajikistan added that in some parts of the world, all kinds of terrorism are propagated and extremist ideology slogans are used on the minds of young people.

According to him, some countries do not have a single approach in the fight against terrorism, and until all interested parties have a common approach, it is impossible to fight against terrorism and the promotion of extremism.
