World Food Program: 9 out of 10 people in Afghanistan do not have enough food

The World Food Program has expressed concern about the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan and said that 9 out of ten people in this country cannot get enough food.

The World Food Program wrote in a tweet that in Afghanistan, 9 out of 10 people cannot get enough food and parents are unable to provide healthy food for their children.

This international organization added that in 2022, the World Food Program has taken care of more than 21 million vulnerable people and people facing food insecurity throughout Afghanistan.

It is worth mentioning that after the Taliban came to power, a large part of the international aid to Afghanistan was cut off and billions of dollars from the reserves of the central bank of this country were also blocked by the United States, and this caused the economic and human situation in Afghanistan to worsen day by day.
