Unknown people attacked the employees of the 203rd al-Farooq Taliban corps in Herat

The Ministry of Defense of the Taliban has announced an armed attack on the employees of the 203rd Al Farooq Army Corps in Herat province.

In the announcement of the Ministry of Defense of the Taliban, it is stated that this morning, unknown armed men attacked a caster-type vehicle carrying medical personnel of the 207th Al-Farooq Corps in Herat province.

The ministry added that as a result of this incident, 5 people were killed and some were injured.

While expressing sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims of this incident, the Ministry of Defense of the Taliban said that the enemy cannot weaken the determination of the employees and defense personnel by launching such attacks.

Local sources in Herat say that this incident took place in the area of the robbers’ tent in the north of Herat city when unknown armed men shot from inside a rickshaw at the car carrying employees of the 207th Al-Farooq Corps.

No individual or group has yet claimed responsibility for this attack.
