A 15-year-old girl committed suicide in Parwan

Local sources in Parwan say that a 15-year-old girl hanged herself in this province.

These sources say that this incident happened on Saturday in Jabal al-Sraj district of Parwan province and this girl ended her life by hanging herself.

According to them, this girl committed suicide after being forced to marry by her family.

The local authorities in Parwan have also confirmed this incident and say that further investigations have been started in this case.

It should be noted that the number of forced marriages in Afghanistan is high, this has led to the suicide of young girls in most cases.
