Local sources in Balkh say that a young girl was killed by a member of the Taliban in Shulgarh district of this province.

These sources say that this girl was shot dead by Mullah Yasin, a member of the Taliban, who refused to marry him.

Meanwhile, officials in the Taliban security command in Balkh say that Mullah Yasin, who is accused of murdering this girl, has been arrested by the security forces.
