Foreign Minister of Pakistan: Islamabad has no decision to recognize the Taliban

Pakistan’s foreign minister has said that his country does not recognize the Taliban alone and is willing to follow this process with international consensus.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said in a press conference that his country is willing to pursue the process of recognizing the caretaker government of the Taliban with international consensus and will not act alone in this context.
He said: “As far as the recognition of the Taliban is concerned, Pakistan does not want to act alone and prefers to follow this process with international consensus.”
In this conference, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan asked the Taliban to fulfill their commitments to the Afghans and the world to fight international terrorism and respect the human rights of all Afghan people, including women’s access to education.
According to the foreign minister of Pakistan, after the new government took office in this country, Islamabad has decided to interact with the Afghan ruling body, but this does not mean recognizing this group.
He also said in this press conference about the closure of the Spinboldak border that the reason for this closure was the attack on the Pakistani military from inside Afghanistan and that the Taliban should not allow terrorist groups to operate.
