Stanekzai to the Chinese ambassador: Afghan soil will not be a threat to any country

Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, the political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban, has assured in a meeting with the Chinese ambassador that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against any country.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban wrote in a tweet that in this meeting, Mr. Stankzai, while expressing his gratitude for China’s humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan, emphasized the strengthening and expansion of economic relations with China.

According to him, in the continuation of this meeting, the Chinese ambassador also expressed his satisfaction with the overall security in Afghanistan and requested more attention from the interim government of this group in ensuring the security of the country’s political representation in Kabul.
