Taliban whipped 22 people in Jawzjan and Kapisa provinces

Local officials in Kapisa and Jawzjan say that 22 people were flogged in these provinces for various crimes.

Officials in the appeals court of Jawzjan province say that 15 people in this province who were accused of adultery, theft, running away from home and other crimes were flogged by order of the leader of the interim Taliban government.

According to them, these people were whipped from 25 to 39 times in front of the people, including women.

At the same time, officials in the appeals court of Najarab district of Kapisa province also say that 4 men and 3 women were flogged in this district for the crimes of selling narcotics and moral corruption.

It should be mentioned that Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzadeh, the leader of the Taliban, recently met with the judges of this group and ordered them to implement the rulings of hadd and retribution.
